Crude Rises as US Drilling, Production Decline

Oil futures closed higher on Friday, supported by new data showing further declines in drilling activity and production in the US. Oil services company Baker Hughes reported that the number of rigs drilling for oil in the US fell by 16 in the week ended Oct. 30, extending a steep decline which goes back to October of last year.
