BG has loaded and shipped on schedule its first LNG cargo from the second production train at the company's Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) facility in Australia. The 4.25 million ton/yr Train 2 facility loaded the cargo on board the Maran Gas Posidonia, BG announced on Monday. The vessel is bound for Chinese state CNOOC's Ningbo terminal and is due to arrive around Jul. 23, according to shipping data. The second train is expected to take six months to ramp up and the 8.5 million ton/yr QCLNG will see production plateau at around 8 million tons/yr around mid-2016, BG said.
