Two Die at Eni Refinery

Two contractors died at the Eni Versalis refining and petrochemical site at Priolo in Sicily on Wednesday morning while inspecting the sewerage system at the plant's ethylene unit. According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, one of the two men was overcome by fumes and fell into a well at the site, while the other fell while trying to stop his fall. Production at the unit was halted and the men were brought up but efforts to resuscitate them failed.
