Indonesia Approves $2B Revised Cepu Plans

Indonesian upstream regulator SKK Migas has approved a $2.05 billion revised development plan for the Central Java Cepu gas development. The plans for the Jambaran and Tiung Biru gas fields calls for the drilling of six development wells and the construction of processing and support facilities. The fields should produce 227 MMcf/d beginning in the first quarter of 2019 and are expected to reach peak production of 315 MMcf/d in 2020, according to a SKK Migas statement. The gas will be used by the domestic market.
