Faroe Ups UK Blane, Enoch Field Stakes

London-listed Faroe Petroleum has increased its stakes in the producing North Sea Blane and Enoch fields after acquiring the UK affiliate of Australia's Roc Oil in a deal worth up to $20 million. The deal will lift Faroe's non-operated interests in the Blane field by 12.5% to 30.5% and in Enoch by 12% to 13.9%. Blane has been producing 4,100 boe/d since coming back into full production on Aug. 22. Enoch is currently suspended pending the resolution of "certain technical and commercial matters" Faroe said, although it is due back on stream later this year.
