Enagas Joins TAP Pipeline as E.On, Total Exit

Italian gas transmission firm Enagas has taken a 16% stake in Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), the Switzerland-based company that is building the final leg of the southern corridor that will deliver 10 Bcm/yr of Caspian Sea gas to Europe, easing the EU's dependence on Russian gas. At the same time, existing shareholder Fluxys of Belgium has increased its stake in TAP from 16% to 19%.
