In a rare boost for Thailand's declining oil output, the Manora oil field is expected to start production in mid-November, and to peak at 15,000 b/d by the first quarter of 2015, according to 30% stakeholder Tap Oil. UAE's Mubadala Petroleum operates the shallow-water development with a 60% stake while Northern Gulf Petroleum, which is majority-owned by Australian minnow Tap, holds the remaining 10%.
