Two oil tankers in the choke point Strait of Hormuz came under rare attack by unidentified assailants over the weekend, but both vessels and crews escaped unharmed. A small boat, carrying six people, approached the Album on Mar. 30 and fired machine guns toward the bridge, said Shahid Khashan, security officer for the ship's owner, Arab Maritime Petroleum Transport Co. (AMPTC).
