Fourth Shaikan Cargo Sold From Turkey

UK-listed Gulf Keystone says a fourth cargo of oil from its Shaikan field in Iraq's Kurdistan region is currently loading at Turkey's Mersin port, but the firm had no information on the buyer. Earlier cargoes of the heavy oil have sold at dated Brent minus $14, and then minus $17-$18--but still above the firm's initial expectations in the $20 discount range. Oil trader Trafigura, earlier blacklisted by Baghdad for lifting Kurdistan Regional Government condensate, has been among the Shaikan buyers (IOD Feb.7'14).
