Shell to Sell Eagle Ford Assets

The US unit of Royal Dutch Shell is putting another package of US unconventional oil and gas assets on the block, this time seeking a buyer for 106,000 acres of gas-producing properties in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. The acreage is located in Dimmit, LaSalle and Webb counties, along the border with Mexico. That places it outside the Eagle Ford's oil window, in a more gas-prone area.
