Study Favors Floating Concept for Arctic Castberg

A floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) system is considered to be the most economically viable development concept for the Johan Castberg oil field in the Arctic Barents Sea, according to research firm Wood Mackenzie. The Johan Castberg area is seen as potentially the next major development hub in the Norwegian far north Barents Sea.
