UK Supply Chain Valued at $59 Billion

The UK upstream oil and gas supply chain is worth about ￡35 billion ($59 billion) to the UK economy, according to a new study by Ernst & Young. Commissioned by industry body Oil and Gas UK, the study examined 2012 figures from over 3,000 companies actively involved in the supply chain. Over half (1,585) were UKregistered with at least 50% of turnover generated in the oil and gas sector.
