LyondellBasell Will Not Buy Kurdish Crude

Refining and chemical company LyondellBasell will discontinue purchases of so-called disputed crude after an Iraqi lawsuit prompted a US judge to halt the unloading of Kurdish crude aboard the United Kalarytva, the company said Friday. In a written statement, LyondellBasell said it has "canceled further purchases and will not accept delivery of any of the affected crude until the matter is appropriately resolved."
