Turkish state-run TPAO is participating in the first Lebanese offshore bid round as part of a wider upstream strategy focused on East Mediterranean and Black Sea prospects. “We are part of three separate consortiums looking at the Lebanon licensing round,” TPAO exploration adviser Metin Korucu told International Oil Daily on the sidelines of the East Mediterranean and North African Gas Forum in Rome.
