Gazprom to Start Bangladesh Drilling Soon

Gazprom International, an operator of Gazprom’s overseas upstream projects, said Tuesday it would start drilling the first two wells in Bangladesh in “the nearest weeks.” Work will be part of the two contracts signed in April of last year by the Russian gas major with Bangladeshi state-run energy company Petrobangla to drill 10 gas exploration wells in the country (IOD Apr.27’12).
