Protests Halt Tullow Drilling in Kenya

Tullow Oil has suspended all drilling operations in Kenya due to local protests about jobs. The UK-based independent was drilling wells on two onshore blocks in the East African country, which is currently the most active in its exploration portfolio. Analysts at First Energy Capital said the shutdown would be negative for Tullow and its partner Africa Oil Corp. (AOC).
