India, Japan Plan to Buy LNG Jointly

India and Japan are working to procure LNG jointly and will likely work out the terms in the next three months, India's Oil Secretary Vivek Rae said Wednesday. State-owned Gail India will meet with a Japanese company in the next month and start work on the proposal, Rae told reporters on the sidelines of an industry conference without giving away details of the Japanese firm.
