Foreign oil and gas officials describe a rapidly deteriorating security situation in Yemen following the killing of an employee from France's Total in the country earlier this week. "One of our employees passed away following the attack that occurred [Tuesday] at around 2 p.m. local time," a Total spokesman told International Oil Daily. "Safety and security is very important to us and the situation is under close monitoring."
