Parkmead Buys Into Dutch Fields

UK-listed minnow Parkmead Group has agreed to acquire stakes in onshore fields in the Netherlands for ?7.5 million ($9.9 million) from privately held Dutch-based upstream investor Dyas (EIF Dec.8’10). The assets comprise a 15% interest in the Andel V license, which contains two producing gas fields -- Wijk en Aalburg and Brakel -- plus the Ottoland oil-field development; a 15% interest in the Papekop license with its Papekop oil-field development; and a 15% interest across both the Drenthe III -- excluding the Vinkega gas field -- and Drenthe IV licenses, which together contain two producing gas fields, Geesbrug and Grolloo.
