Iran has responded to a new wave of European Union and US sanctions targeting its oil exports by reflagging around two-thirds of its tankers in the colors of Tanzania and the tiny South Pacific nation of Tuvalu. But Iran may soon be forced to seek alternatives as US lobbyists and lawmakers warn both countries, especially American ally Tanzania, that they could be violating sanctions if they do not stop the practice immediately.
