Arab League Signs Energy Accord

The Energy Charter and the Arab League signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday relating to energy cooperation between the two organizations. The agreement, signed in Brussels, focuses on joint activities for the development of regional and intraregional energy trade, energy efficiency and renewable energy policies, regional electricity markets, knowledge exchange and technical cooperation, and encouraging investment in energy.
