Asian Firms to Raise Funds

China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) will issue 20 billion yuan ($3.17 billion) worth of domestic bonds this Wednesday to fund a major gas pipeline and boost working capital. There will be two equal issues of seven- and 15-year bonds, the company said Monday. They are believed to be part of the 60 billion yuan CNPC plans to raise over the next few months (IOD Feb.6'12).
