State-owned China Petrochemical Corp., also known as Sinopec Group, lifted its shareholding in subsidiary Sinopec Corp. from 75.84% to 76.38% by Monday, Sinopec Corp. said in a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The parent company acquired approximately 39 million A shares of Sinopec Corp. on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and 425.5 million H shares of Sinopec Corp. through the secondary market in Hong Kong.
