Russia, China Keen to Expand Espo Supply Deal

While Moscow and Beijing still have a long way to go before reaching the much-discussed gas supply deal to deliver 68 billion cubic meters per year of Russian gas to the energy-hungry Asian country, the two sides have managed to make more progress on the oil front after agreeing to study the possibility of increasing supplies of Russian East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (Espo) crude to China.
