London-listed, Kurdistan-focused exploration and production play Genel Energy announced Tuesday that the production-sharing contract (PSC) consortium for the Tawke oil field in the semiautonomous region of northern Iraq, in which it holds 25%, is now embarking on work to expand production and pipeline capacity there from its current limit of 75,000 barrels per day to 100,000 b/d by the end of this year.
