Chevron Finds New Brazil Seep

Chevron’s headaches offshore Brazil returned on Thursday with the US major detecting a new, “small” seep at its deepwater Frade field. Neither Chevron nor Brazil’s oil regulator, the ANP, said exactly how big the seep was, but Chevron requested government authorization to temporarily suspend operations at the field as a precautionary measure.
