摘要

Sudan is sticking to its tough demands in the dispute over pipeline fees that has shut South Sudan’s oil production since mid-January and waiting for talks led by the former South African president, Thabo Mbeki, to find a solution. With South Sudan’s self-imposed shutdown keeping about 320,000 barrels per day from world oil markets because of the row, Sudan’s oil minister says Sudan’s proposed $36 per barrel fee remains on the table at the latest round of negotiations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
