Ensco Inks US Gulf Contract

Noble Energy, Anadarko Petroleum andApache have signed a contract for the shareduse of an Ensco ultra-deepwater semisub-mersible drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico.The shared contract for the ENSCO 8505is for two years, or two rotations per opera-tor, whichever is longer.The daily rate for the rig will be $475,000,plus cost adjustments, adding about $350million to Ensco’s revenue backlog.
