摘要

Poor results at the Long Lake oil sands project in Alberta and the company’s involuntary exit from a major oil project in Yemen late last year have cost Nexen Chief Executive Marvin Romanow his job. The Canadian producer announced late on Monday that Romanow was leaving the company “effective immediately.” Also handed his marching orders was Nexen’s vice president for Canada, Gary Nieuwenberg, who formerly ran the Long Lake operations.
