China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC) signed an agreement with Qatar Petroleum International (QPI)and Shell China in Doha last week, reaffirming their commitment to further cooperation in a refining-petrochemical project in Taizhou, located in Zhejiang province in Southern China. The agreement was signed when Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and CNPC executives visited Qatar during a trip to the Middle East.
