Europe's core economies continue to grow at an impressive clip, but its hard-pressed refining sector faces a difficult second quarter, with both profitability and runs likely to remain constrained. Latest eurozone purchasing manager index (PMI) data, released on Tuesday by Markit, show an increase in April to 57.8, the second-strongest monthly rise since June 2007, with job creation also hitting a three-and-a-half-year high as the economic growth surge continues.
