Iran Hikes Oil Reserves

Iran said Tuesday that its recoverable oil re- serves have increased to 154.8 billion bbl, which would keep it as Opec's third-biggest crude resource holder. Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Ghasemi said new discoveries have allowed the Islamic republic to boost its re- serve base from 151 billion bbl, which was the number it reported to Opec last year after rival Iraq bumped up its reserves significantly.
