Rosneft is keeping its lips sealed about its reaction to last week's international arbitration ruling allowing its share swap with BP to go ahead provided TNK-BP replaces the UK firm as the Russian oil giant's partner in a planned Arctic exploration project. The Russian business daily Vedomosti cited a source close to Rosneft as saying the state firm is unhappy at the ruling and has still to decide how to respond. So far, Rosneft officials have kept insisting the company does not consider TNK-BP a possible partner in the Arctic as it possesses neither the necessary experience nor technology.
