Origin Issues Oz LNG Bond

Australia's Origin Energy has chosen to tap the Australian bond market as it contin- ues ramping up financing for its Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) project. It is now seeking to raise A$500 million (US$506 mil- lion) through 60-year notes that will be of- fered to institutional and retail investors after US and European bond issues earlier this year (IOD Oct.10'11).
