Pertamina Eyes Angolan Block

Indonesian state Pertamina has put in the highest bid for Exxon Mobil's 25% stake in Angola's offshore Block 31, a company source told International Oil Daily Tuesday. "Pertamina has bid above $3.5 billion for Exxon's stak in the Angolan block. Pertamina is still awaiting an announcement from Exxon," the source said. "The oil block in Angola is good for boosting Pertamina's production and profit. It will produce around 150,000 b/d."
