Shell Sells Colombian Stake

Royal Dutch Shell has sold its stake in Colombia's Cano Sur Block to Colombia's state- controlled oil firm, Ecopetrol. The two companies had each held a 50% stake in the block, located in Colombia's East- ern Llanos Basin, with Ecopetrol as the opera- tor. Once Colombia's National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) approves the transfer, Ecopetrol will take total control of the block.
