Soros Fund Management, owned by bil- lionaire investor George Soros, held about 10% of Papua New Guinea (PNG)-focused In- terOil on Dec. 31, 2010, a quarterly filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission shows. The fund owned more than 4.4 million shares worth $319.56 million, making In- terOil its third-largest company holding out of a total investment of almost $7.7 billion. Soros' involvement in Interoil is down from late October, when its stake amounted to al- most 12% - or more than 5.2 million shares - but higher than at the end of October, when it held about 4 million shares.
