Chelsea Football Club owner RomanAbramovich “betrayed and blackmailed” fel-low Russian oligarch Boris Berezovsky intoselling cheaply a valuable stake in an energycompany, Berezovsky’s lawyer told the UK’sHigh Court on Monday.Berezovsky, a critic of the Kremlin wholives in exile in London, says his formerbusiness partner Abramovich “intimidated”him into disposing of a 21.5% stake in Russ-ian oil company Sibneft at a fraction of itsvalue. He alleges breach of trust and breachof contract and is claiming more than $5 bil-lion in damages from Abramovich.
