Traditionally heavily dependent on Middle East naphtha as a feedstock for its large petrochemicals industry, the Asia-Pacific region will increasingly look to alternatives - particularly condensate - because of concerns over naphtha availability and price, Al Troner, president of Asia-Pacific Energy Consulting (APEC), told a seminar in Singapore this week.
