The UK's Lloyd's Register has landed a threeyear contract to support Maersk FPSO's global commitment to supplying floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels and provide a "global standard" for Maersk. The long-term technical agreement includes integrity management, verification and classification services, according to Iain Light, group energy director with Lloyd's Register. The news was unveiled at the Offshore Technology Conference 2011 in Houston.
