Montara Spill Delays Hit Thai PTT Oil Sales Forecast

Project delays caused by the Montara spill in the Timor Sea have prompted Thailand's PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) to cut its petroleum sales forecasts for 2011. It has shaved the forecast to 269,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 273,000 boe/d because it expects lower production in the second half of the year, Chief Executive Anon Sirisaengtaksin said on Friday - although the new total is still slightly up on the 265,000 boe/d seen in 2010.
