PNOC-EC Eyes Downstream

State Philippine National Oil Co. Explo- ration Corp. (PNOC-EC) is looking to be- come a domestic downstream player by set- ting up infrastructure to import, store and supply refined products, the company said in a filing to the Manila stock exchange. It eventually hopes to establish tank farms in North and/or South Luzon to store both its own and third-party inventories, but will ini- tially lease tanks for products imports and sell the products to local players.
