Ramba Makes Java Oil Find

Singapore-listed Ramba Energy said it has discovered oil at Indonesia's Jati Block in West Java. The find was made during a well workover at the Jatirarangon gas field in the Baturaja limestone formation. It has tested 90 b/d of oil and 500 Mcf/d of gas. Further geological, geophysical and reservoir studies will be conducted with Indonesian state Per- tamina. “This is an unexpected surprise. ...
