The board of Russian state oil champion Rosneft has approved a 20% year-on-year increase in the dividend payout for 2010, but analysts say the hike is not as impressive as it sounds. Rosneft will pay an overall dividend of 29.251 billion rubles ($1.04 billion), or 2.76 rubles/share, which represents 15.2% of its 2010 profits under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).
