Lundin Profits Rise on UK Asset Sale

Lundin Petroleum posted a net profit of $498 million in 2010, driven by a combination of higher oil and gas output from its Alvheim and Volund fields off Norway, and the sale of its UK upstream assets. This compares with a net loss of $537 million the previous year.
