Tepco Mulls Cutting Wages

Embattled Tokyo Electric Power Co. (Tepco) is considering wage cuts in order to raise funds to meet compensation claims put forward by victims of the nuclear disaster last month. Bank of America-Merrill Lynch estimated earlier this month that claims could run up to 3 trillion yen ($36.5 billion) if the crisis lasts approximately six months.
