Papua New Guinea (PNG)-focused Oil Search has reported disappointing results at its Mananda-5 well in the PPL 219 Block on- shore PNG, near its SE Mananda oil field (IOD Nov.15'10,p6). After finding hydrocar- bons in the Toro sandstone, the company deepened the well to evaluate the Iagifu and Koi-Iange sandstones. But the Iagifu sand- stone has so far revealed little.
