Antonio Palocci, who resigned as Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff's chief of staff due to a scandal over corruption allegations, has also stepped down from the board of state-controlled oil firm Petrobras. The company made the announcement late Friday night, despite earlier comments by Chief Executive Jose Sergio Gabrielli insisting that Palocci would serve out his term.
