Urals Loses Sakhalin License

Russia-focused Urals Energy has lost another prized asset after subsidiary Petrosakh decided not to extend a license for the Pogranichny Block, which forms part of the Sakhalin-6 area off Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East. According to Rosnedra, part of the Russian natural resources ministry, the license expired last month. The block now returns to the country's undistributed fund.
