Russian pipeline monopoly Transneft is setto buy port infrastructure at Russia’s BalticSea port of Ust-Luga, where first crude shipments are expected to start in late November.A spokesman for the company told Inter-national Oil Daily that Transneft is preparedto close a deal to purchase 26% of NevskayaPipeline Company (NPC), which owns bulk-oil infrastructure at the Ust-Luga port, theend point of Russia’s Baltic Pipeline System-2line which was designed to cut Russia’s de-pendence on transit states.
